Conservation Biology: Call for abstracts for a special issue on the
Evolution of People-Centred Conservation in Brazil
The primary objective of the issue is to promote understanding of how community-centered conservation has become a central aspect of Brazil's national agenda and how such experiences can be scaled up and applied in other regions worldwide. A range of contributions are welcome, including original historical descriptions, data papers, policy analyses, opinion essays, and relevant research studies that examine inclusion of Indigenous peoples and local communities in conservation and enhance understanding of people-centered conservation in Brazil.
Deadline for abstract submission: 20 September 2023.
Submit an abstract by email to Rafael Chiaravalloti (r.chiaravalloti@ucl.ac.uk) or Thais Queiroz Morcatty (tqueiroz-morcatty@brookes.ac.uk) by 20 September 2023.
