Dear all,
I am contacting you to share a new research initiative led by Inès Khazar, Simon Chamaillé-Jammes, Nicolas Morellet and Nathan Ranc, the Global Translocation Study. The project seeks to advance our understanding of learning processes in wild animals and to generate applied insights to improve translocation success (see project summary attached).
To this end, the team is compiling post-release movement data (e.g., GPS or VHF) of translocated, reintroduced, relocated and rehabilitated vertebrates from existing networks, institutions, researchers and practitioners.
If you are interested in participating, please fill out a very brief (5-minute) survey regarding the status of your data: https://tinyurl.com/global-translocation-study by May 1. The team will then follow up with you to discuss data sharing procedure and conditions.
Thank you in advance for your consideration,
