    Nominations are now open for the Society for Conservation Biology's Revive Working Group leadership team!

    Revive is dedicated to promoting wellbeing, resilience, and connection across the global conservation community. We believe that supporting the people behind conservation is essential to achieving lasting conservation outcomes.

    We're looking for passionate individuals from all career stages and continents who want to help build a more resilient conservation sector. Whether your strengths lie in leadership, communications, events, research, fundraising, or community engagement, we'd love you to join us!

    You are welcome to apply for up to two Board Officer positions. If elected, you would only serve in one position.

    Open positions:

    • President: The President oversees operations across the working group to ensure Revive's activities are advancing its goals. They lead strategic planning and annual work planning, in coordination with the Vice-President. The President works in partnership with the Financial Manager on fundraising. The President is responsible for organizing and presiding over Board meetings. Note: The President position requires 2-6 hours of time per week.
    • Administrative Officer: The Administrative Officer records meeting minutes, administers correspondence (including outreach and website development) between Revive and the SCB and external community, coordinates nominations and elections, maintains current agreements with Officers, maintains historical records and a roster of members, and ensures up-to-date administrative information is provided on the website.
    • Events Coordinator: The Event Coordinator schedules, organizes, promotes and runs virtual and in-person events. They help communicate Revive's purpose and programming to SCB and external audiences, in partnership with the Administrative Officer.
    • External Liaison: The External Liaison develops and maintains relationships between Revive and other professional societies, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and corporate entities as related to its scope.
    • Special Projects Lead: Special Projects Leads take on responsibility for ad-hoc needs or special projects responding to membership needs and Board priorities. They are flexible contributors to fill in gaps to ensure the Board remains effective and responsive to Revive's evolving demands. Note: Up to three Special Projects Leads may be elected.
