Are you planning to be at the International Congress for Conservation Biology in Kigali, Rwanda this July? Would you like to contribute to a session on participatory and citizen science?
The board of the PaCS Working Group is organizing a symposium plus roundtable discussion on best management practices for citizen and participatory science at ICCB. We are looking for members who would like to present in the symposium and help lead the roundtable discussion. Talks on any topic that are consistent with the theme and objectives of the session would be acceptable. The proposal abstract and rationale are attached.
Abstracts are due 20 April so please let us know if you are interested. If you are, please send a draft abstract of your proposed talk to ciglianojohn@gmail.com as soon as possible. Questions about the session can also be sent to this email address. Please note that we do not have funding to support travel or attendance at the congress.
