The Participatory and Citizen Science Working Group is at a crossroads and needs your help. PaCS is poised to transition to its next stage in development but unless we can fill the open board positions, it will become dormant. So, if you are passionate about participatory and citizen science and believe that it is an essential part of conservation and SCB, and would like to guide PaCS on its development, please consider self-nomination, or nominating someone you believe would be interested in joining the board. The Call for Nominations can be found here.
Nominations should include the position, contact details, a short biography (300 words maximum) and a statement (300 words maximum) indicating why the candidate is interested in the position and how their experience qualifies them for the position. All nominations should be sent to me by 1 September 2022 by 5pm ET (10pm GMT) at ciglianojohn@gmail.com. Please put "PaCS Nomination" in the subject line.
