    Hi there. I would like to make a trip after the conference, from the 29th onward, to Nyungwe Forest or Volcanoes National Park. Is anybody interested? Let me know, maybe we can organize something.

    Hi Mikael, Hi everyone

    It seems that we are at least 4 persons interested in taking a post conference trip. The discussion is still open on dates and location. I am available between the 29th of July and 1st of August, so a multiple day trip will suit me the most. Unfortunatelly, I am very busy these days and had no time yet to organize anything. Let's see when everybody is available and hopefully make something work.

    Thanks for your e-mail. I thought I responded yesterday but there seems to be problems with the ICCB server. I am indeed interested to join on the 28-29th, but not later since I am also leaving i bit after midnight on the 30th. 

    However, I will be travelling from now until the conference so I will have very limited time to arrange something more practically. Have you been in contact with any operator? It seems others are also interested but they seem to be in a similar position, with time constraints...

    I have contacted a tour operator for Volcano National Park - 2 day trip (29-30 July) and they say they have another group from the ICCB Conference and that I can join them. If you are interested, I can provide the contact email. Eliana

I am at ICCB this week, and am looking for a tour to either Nyungwe or Volcano NP for some time between 28-30 July (fly out midday on the 1 August). Do either of you have any leads or is there room on the tours you ended up going on? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Daniel,
    Gloria from East African Trails told me she secured the last permit for hiking in Volcano NP,  Bisoke mountain (30), but you should contact her, maybe something has changed since. There is a group under the name Michelle for a 2 day trip (29-30). Hope that helps.
