Dear SCB and SCB North America Members,
The Education Committee of the Society for Conservation Biology North America (SCBNA) will be hosting a series of online, interactive workshops throughout 2025/26 to provide pedagogical support in conservation education for educators in our network (SCB members & non-members alike). Each workshop will focus on incorporating practical resources into classroom curricula and/or community programs, and will include opportunities for hands-on learning with our workshop facilitators. Moreover, each workshop will seek to connect educators with members of the wider conservation community, and provide space for additional collaborations to flourish amongst attendees.
We are looking for conservation leaders in our network who may be interested in preparing and leading a workshop as outlined above. If this applies to you, please take a moment to complete THIS SHORT ONLINE FORM and include a brief proposal for your workshop. We will periodically review the submissions sent to us and will reach out should we have any questions about your proposal and/or would like to move forward with logistical planning. Please note that, even if we do not move forward with your proposal for 2025/26, we may still reach out to inquire about a future workshop session in 2026/27 (or beyond).
