I'm a co-editor, with Chris Degeling of Wollongong University, of a special issue on ethics of One Health which will be published late fall/early winter by CABI One Health. Here's the link to the call for papers:
I will host a zoom call for those of you who are interested in discussing manuscript topics in the next few weeks and will send out a doodle poll for that, so let me know if you're interested! But in the meantime, here is where I think many of you could contribute your thoughts and expertise:
- tradeoffs between human health and wellbeing and other animal health and wellbeing;
- incorporating ethics statements into research manuscripts and One Health cases
- ethics of individual "cute" animals and populations
- political decisions that impact people, other animals, plants and nature/ecosystems - how to balance short vs. long term needs for survival
- any other ideas you may have!
